IFAN Annual General Meeting 2008

Representatives from Freedomgate Pakistan and Liberal Forum Pakistan

Two FNF alumni from Pakistan, representatives from the Freedom Gate Pakistan (http://freedomgatepakistan.org) and one representative from Liberal Forum Pakistan (www.liberalforumpakistan.org), shared their respective experiences. Their presentations inspired new ideas amongst IFAN on how make use of the wide potential and resources of its members when it comes to promoting liberal ideas.

New EC members of IFAN

At the end of the meeting, a new 4-member Executive Committee headed by Iris Madeira was formed.
The line-up of the executive committee members are:

• National Coordinator: Iris Madeira
• Deputy Coordinator: Touseef Magray
• Secretary: Shabi Hussain
• Treasurer: Satyajit Dey

The Executive Committee further discussed its basic organisational structure and outlined several main agenda for the year 2008-2009 during the final session of the meeting.
